1. What you own
When you lawfully own an authentic Cinderkin NFT, you own that token. Ownership does not transfer copyright in its artwork or ownership of the Cinderkin brand.
Dreamer Labs, the project’s rights holder and license issuer, retains all rights it owns in the artwork, collection, names, and logos, except for the permissions expressly granted here.
2. What holders can do
While you lawfully own your Cinderkin NFT and comply with this license, you receive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and adapt the artwork associated with that token for personal and commercial purposes.
Examples include:
- Using your demon as a profile picture or in social posts.
- Creating illustrations, videos, stories, and other adaptations.
- Printing your demon on clothing, prints, and other physical products.
- Using your demon in your own creative business or project.
There is no revenue cap or additional artwork licensing fee under this license. You remain responsible for your products, business activities, and compliance with applicable laws.
You may engage printers, designers, and other service providers to work on your behalf. They receive no independent rights to use the artwork.
3. Three forms, one demon
This license covers your token’s Original artwork after reveal and its Parasitic Corruption and Crystal Growth artwork as those forms officially unlock during your ownership.
It does not grant rights to other holders’ demons, unrevealed artwork, or forms you have not unlocked.
Buying a Forge pack does not unlock an NFT form, accelerate Devilution, or change the holding clock.
4. The Cinderkin brand
This license does not grant commercial rights to the Cinderkin name, official logos, website artwork, campaign illustrations, or other project assets beyond your token’s licensed artwork.
You may truthfully identify your NFT as a Cinderkin and describe your work as an independent holder creation. You must not imply that your products or activities are official, endorsed, or operated by Cinderkin without written permission.
Cinderkin may continue using collection artwork, including your demon, in its own promotions, displays, and products. Your license is non-exclusive.
5. Respect the collection
You may not:
- Claim ownership of the underlying Cinderkin copyright or register the licensed artwork itself as your trademark.
- Use the artwork to impersonate the project, deceive customers, or facilitate unlawful activity.
- Create another NFT or tokenized collection using the licensed artwork without separate written permission.
- Sell or distribute standalone artwork files as stock assets or grant others an independent license to them.
Rights in any original material you add remain yours, but do not give you ownership of the underlying Cinderkin artwork.
6. Selling or transferring your NFT
Your holder license ends when you cease to lawfully own the NFT. The next lawful owner receives the permissions available under this license.
After ownership ends, you must stop new commercial use, manufacturing, and sales involving the licensed artwork, including through contractors. There is no automatic inventory sell-off period.
You may retain previously created images and purchased physical items for personal, non-commercial use. Existing non-commercial social posts may remain, provided they do not falsely suggest you are still the holder. Customers may retain products lawfully purchased from you.
A transfer between wallets you own does not by itself change the legal owner, but it still resets the NFT’s holding clock. Self-transfers also reset that clock.
7. Forge creations
You may download and share your Forge creations for personal, non-commercial use, including on social media.
Forge backgrounds, cups, frames, and other project assets are not included in the commercial artwork license above. Buying early access grants use of those tools; it does not transfer their copyright or grant permission to resell their files.
Previously downloaded creations may be kept and shared non-commercially after a transfer. Continued access to holder-only Forge tools requires meeting the Forge’s current ownership and access requirements.
8. Scope of these rights
These permissions apply only to rights the Cinderkin rights holder owns or is authorized to license. They do not override third-party rights.
This license does not promise income, NFT value, exclusive commercial opportunities, or future benefits. Access to future products and experiences may carry separate terms.
