Cinderkin will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key. This guide does not connect to your wallet or collect wallet secrets.

01 · NO JARGON REQUIRED

A few words you’ll see.

Web3
Apps that let you use a wallet to interact with a blockchain—a shared public record.
Wallet
An app that manages the keys to your crypto and NFTs. Your assets are recorded on the blockchain, not inside the app.
ETH & Ethereum
Ethereum is the network Cinderkin uses. ETH is its currency, used here for minting and network fees.
NFT & minting
An NFT is a unique token recorded on a blockchain. Minting creates your token. Buying an existing NFT from another owner is a separate resale purchase.
Gas
The network fee for processing a transaction. It changes with demand and is separate from the NFT price.
Allowlist
A list of approved wallet addresses eligible for an early mint phase. A spot is not a free NFT or a completed purchase.
02 · MAKE YOUR WALLET

Your own key to the journey.

Use an Ethereum wallet supported by OpenSea. MetaMask is one example; this walkthrough uses its recovery-phrase setup. If you already have a compatible wallet you control, you can keep using it.

  1. Start at the real wallet website.

Visit metamask.io (opens in new tab). Use its download links for your desktop browser extension or phone app. Avoid sponsored search results and downloads sent by strangers.

  2. Create a new wallet inside the app.

Choose the recovery-phrase option and a unique password. Follow the app’s backup and confirmation prompts. Button labels can change. Never use a wallet or recovery phrase someone else gives you.

  3. Back up the recovery phrase offline.

Write the words in the exact order and store them somewhere private and protected. Don’t screenshot, email, or paste them into a website, chat, or cloud note. Only enter them inside the genuine wallet app when deliberately restoring your wallet.

  4. Find your public Ethereum address.

Copy it from your wallet’s account/receive screen. It starts with 0x. This is the address you can use for an allowlist application. It is not your password or recovery phrase.

Public address ≠ secret recovery phrase.

Your address can receive assets and exposes public activity. Your recovery phrase gives control of your wallet. A wallet password unlocks the app; it cannot protect you if someone has the phrase.

Some wallets also offer social-login recovery. If you choose that route, follow the provider’s recovery instructions and protect both the linked account and wallet password. Cinderkin cannot restore access to your wallet.

03 · GET READY WITH ETH

The right currency. The right network.

Cinderkin’s advertised mint price is 0.006666 ETH per NFT, plus gas. Check the official OpenSea mint screen for the active price, quantity limit, and total before confirming.

  1. Choose how to get ETH.

You can use a provider offered inside your wallet or an exchange available in your country. Review fees, identity requirements, withdrawal minimums, and any waiting period before buying.

  2. Get ETH into your own wallet on Ethereum Mainnet.

If withdrawing from an exchange, paste your own wallet address and select Ethereum (sometimes labeled Ethereum/ERC-20) as the withdrawal network. ETH on Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, or another network is not the same balance. WETH is also not the ETH used in this walkthrough.

  3. Check before sending.

Compare the entire destination address with your wallet, not an address from transaction history. Consider a small test transfer first; it has its own fees. Allow enough ETH for the mint and the gas estimate, plus any withdrawal fee. Wait until the balance arrives on Ethereum Mainnet.

No direct payments to “reserve” a demon.

Never send ETH to the Cinderkin contract address, a team member, or an address in a DM as a substitute for minting. Use the official OpenSea mint flow.

How to mint a Cinderkin.

NETWORKEthereum Mainnet
ALLOWLIST PHASEDecember 1, 2026
PUBLIC PHASEDecember 2, 2026

Check the official OpenSea drop for the exact start time in your timezone, active stage, remaining supply, and limits. This guide does not indicate that minting is currently open.

  1. For early access, check your approval.

Apply for the allowlist with the wallet you plan to mint from. Save your private receipt and check your status. Applying alone is not approval. The public phase does not require allowlist approval, subject to remaining supply.

  2. Open the official collection.

Use the button below or “Mint on OpenSea” on cinderkin.io. Check that the browser address is opensea.io and the collection path is /collection/cinderkinnft/overview. A copied logo or matching name alone is not proof.

  3. Connect the correct wallet.

Use OpenSea’s connect/log-in option and select your wallet. For allowlist minting, it must be the approved address. On a phone, the connection may switch to your wallet app; return to OpenSea after reviewing the prompt. Never enter recovery words into OpenSea.

  4. Choose your quantity when your phase opens.

Select the available mint option and review the price and limit. Cinderkin’s presale allows up to 3 NFTs per wallet. A homepage preview pick does not reserve that artwork or determine your mint.

  5. Read the wallet confirmation before paying.

Confirm Ethereum Mainnet, the intended mint, the quantity, and the total including gas. If the request is unexpected or unclear, reject it and ask for help. Confirm only when it matches what you intended.

  6. Wait for confirmation, then view your NFT.

Check the transaction status in your wallet. Once successful, use the same wallet in your OpenSea profile to view your collected NFT. A pending transaction is not a reason to click Mint repeatedly.

05 · PAUSE BEFORE APPROVING

These requests are different.

CONNECT

“Let this site see my address.”

Ordinary connection shares your selected public address. It does not, by itself, authorize spending. Review any additional permissions separately.

SIGN

“I’m agreeing to this message.”

A signature may be used for sign-in, but can also authorize an order or other action. No gas does not mean no risk. Read the message and the requesting site.

TRANSACT / APPROVE

“Make a change or grant access.”

A transaction can spend ETH, move assets, or grant permission to a contract. A token approval can allow future spending. Reject unrelated approvals or “approve all” requests you don’t understand.

What Cinderkin asks for

Allowlist applications: no connection, signature, or payment. Forge sign-in: a wallet message signature, not a transaction or token approval. Minting: an on-chain purchase through OpenSea. Optional paid Forge packs: a separate Stripe checkout; buying a pack does not mint an NFT.

Disconnecting a site does not cancel spending approvals already granted on-chain. Learn how to review and revoke approvals (opens in new tab).

06 · KEEP YOUR FIRE SAFE

Good habits. Clear red flags.

Do these

  • Bookmark cinderkin.io and check the real address bar after following links.
  • Keep your wallet, browser, and device updated. Use unique passwords and strong two-factor authentication for your email and exchange.
  • Keep only what you need in a wallet used for unfamiliar apps. Consider a hardware wallet for valuable holdings; it still needs careful signing.
  • Take your time. If something feels wrong, stop before approving.

Don’t do these

  • Share recovery words, private keys, private receipt codes, or account access codes.
  • Accept “support” through an unexpected DM or let a stranger remotely control your device.
  • Follow links in surprise NFTs or tokens to claim, unlock, or sell them.
  • Trust guaranteed returns, “send one ETH, get two,” or a fee demanded to release a prize.
“Urgent: connect to validate or repair your wallet.”

That is a common scam script. Close the page and use your wallet provider’s official help site. Do not enter secrets or sign a mystery request to “sync,” “verify,” or “recover” funds.

“Claim your Devilution upgrade now.”

Cinderkin’s artwork transformations do not require another mint, a burn, or a claim transaction. Don’t pay someone to unlock the 66- or 666-day NFT form.

“I clicked something suspicious. What now?”

If you only opened a page, close it and reject any prompts. If you signed or approved something, stop using that site and contact your wallet’s official support. Review and revoke unwanted approvals using its verified guidance; revoking can cost gas and does not recover assets already lost.

If your recovery phrase or private key was exposed, treat that wallet as compromised. A password change or disconnect is not enough. Use official wallet support for a safe migration plan to a fresh wallet on a clean device. Don’t add funds to a suspected compromised wallet without guidance, and don’t pay a “recovery expert” from your DMs.

07 · YOUR NEXT CHAPTER

You minted. Here’s what happens next.

6 days after your token’s mint

Your original artwork reveals. An unrevealed image before then is expected. There is no extra reveal payment.

66 → 666 continuous holding days

Parasitic Corruption, then Crystal Growth. These are total holding milestones, not 66 plus another 666 days. Selling or transferring—even to yourself—resets the holding clock and form. The six-day reveal clock does not restart.

December 7, 2026 onward

The Forge opens at midnight Eastern. Access also requires a verified, revealed Cinderkin. Explore included creations, Trait Lab, and Living Stronghold; some extra packs offer optional paid early access or free holding milestones.

Choose your intended holding wallet before minting. Moving an NFT to another wallet later changes the holding journey, even if both wallets are yours.

08 · NO NEED TO GUESS

If something doesn’t work.

My wallet won’t connect on mobile.

Unlock your wallet app and confirm you selected the intended account. Use a supported browser or your wallet’s built-in browser if offered. Reopen the official OpenSea link and follow the connection prompt. Do not create a new wallet just to fix a browser connection.

OpenSea says I’m not eligible.

Check your application status, the exact connected address, and the active mint phase. A submitted application or shareable ticket is not a guarantee that you can mint. If an approved address is rejected during its phase, contact Cinderkin through our official links before trying another wallet.

I have ETH, but it says insufficient funds.

Check Ethereum Mainnet, the selected wallet, and whether your balance covers the NFT price plus gas. ETH on another network and WETH are different balances. Don’t choose a random bridge from a search ad; use official provider guidance if you need to move funds between networks.

The mint is pending or failed.

Read the transaction status in your wallet or its linked block explorer. Pending means wait or follow your wallet’s official troubleshooting steps. A failed on-chain transaction may still use gas. Check supply, phase eligibility, and funds before retrying; refreshing the page does not cancel a transaction.

I can’t see my demon yet.

First confirm the mint succeeded and that OpenSea is connected to the same wallet. Indexing can take time. Original art reveals six days after that token’s mint; refreshing metadata cannot make it reveal early. Use OpenSea’s help if it remains missing after confirmation.

YOUR MINT-DAY CHECKLIST

Ready when you are.

Tick these off for yourself. This checklist does not connect a wallet, verify eligibility, or submit a purchase.

Visit the official mint page (opens in new tab)

Collect because you enjoy the art and experience. NFT prices can fall, resale is not guaranteed, and blockchain payments generally cannot be reversed. Spend only an amount you are comfortable losing.
